69-year-old Vietnam vet Albert Brigas from Texas was hoping to retire but wanted to pay off his mortgage first, so his boss did it for him.

Brigas has worked at Renown Auto Restoration for the past 13 years and had been hoping to retire but wanted to pay off the last $5,000 of his mortgage first. Last month his boss, Rudy Quinones, called him into his office and told him he’s been a great worker, has never missed a day and he wanted to pay off his mortgage so he could retire.

Another employee told the local news about it, saying it “needed to be shared, so people know there are people out there who do good things.” And he’s right. Check out the video here.
