Tyson Foods is recalling more than 190,000 frozen chicken fritters because some may contain hard plastic, according to the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
Health officials received numerous consumer complaints from schools of foreign objects in the breaded chicken fritters. The chicken had been distributed to a number of institutions, including schools.
The frozen fritters were produced on Feb. 28 and have the number P-1325 inside the USDA mark of inspection. You may want to ask your schools if they can check their freezers.
