Mick Jagger to Undergo Heart Valve Surgery After Rolling Stones’ Tour Postponed

Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger is expected to undergo heart valve replacement surgery in New York City this week following the band’s tour postponement, according to the Drudge Report.

The 75-year-old rock icon is expected to make a full recovery and sources say Jagger is in “extraordinary physical condition.” The band’s North American “No Filter” tour, which was set to kick off in Miami on April 20th, was postponed on Saturday citing an illness by Jagger, “Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment.”

Jagger said, “I really hate letting you down like this, I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on the road as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”

Get well soon Mick!
