I feel like this guy was dedicated to writing a slur on a bathroom wall, but in the laziest, most Florida way possible.

24-year-old Paul Scott was at Mugs Pub in Melbourne on Sunday night and apparently entered the restroom with his backpack. When he left, there was wet, pink paint on the wall that read “slur.” Nothing else, just “slur.”

Police were able to track Scott down based on witness statements, and when they did, he was still carrying the same backpack, and they could hear aluminum cans clanking around in his backpack. When they searched it, they found some spray paint cans, including one that was still wet, and in the same shade of pink as the paint in the bathroom.

According to the affidavit, Scott said that he is a painter, and only entered the establishment to use the bathroom, then he left.

Cops did not buy his story, and he was arrested and charged with criminal mischief.

I hope his dedication to his dopey artwork was worth it.
