Over 850 items of the late Burt Reynolds are up for auction in Beverly Hills, Ca. Some of these items include his hats, boots (about 50 pairs ), and the famous Trans-Am he restored to match the one he drove in “Smokey and the Bandit”. That’s expected to fetch upwards of $500 K. “It only has about 70,000 miles on it,” says friend Gene Kennedy, a fellow car collector. “We drove all the way out to Las Vegas and back. It runs really good.”
If it’s your thing, the CB radio used while filming “Smokey and the Bandit 2“ is up for grabs. It is also signed by the late Reynolds. It is estimated to go for as much as $4,000.
You can also purchase prints of his famous 1972 nude centerfold in Cosmopolitan. There’s only 20 of them, ladies..and they’re expected to go for around $2,000.
