Australian Firefighters Save Man’s House, Apologize For Drinking His Milk

This is proof that firefighters are just cool people.

If you haven’t heard, there have been wildfires raging in New South Wales, Australia recently.Β  Since Friday three lives have been lost,Β  over 150 homes have been destroyed, and they’ve razed more than 3,800 square miles.

Paul Sekfy was among those who had to evacuate his home and firefighters were out there attempting to save his property. When he returned home,Β  he found a handwritten note apologizing for not being able to save his sheds, but also stated that they owe him some milk.

While they were attempting to put out the blaze, they took refuge in his house for a while and helped themselves to some of the cool refreshment. They saved his house, they probably deserve some milk!

Anyway, Sekfy posted the note up on Facebook, and it went viral.Β  Kale Hardie-Porter, the firefighter who left the note, even commented on it, saying, “it was our pleasure to do a little good in such horrendous conditions.” He even apologized for his poor handwriting.
