ATTN MOVIE GEEKS! Rare Props From BATMAN, STAR WARS And Other Classics Up For Auction

Calling all movie nerds! An auction containing rare props and memorabilia from some of history’s most iconic movies is happening on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The Prop Store is putting 900 items with a value of more than $7.5 million are going up for sale at London’s BFI IMAX.

They are highlighting some pretty fun stuff too. In addition to A LOT of other stuff, you’ll find: the sword Mel Gibson wielded in “Braveheart”; the complete suit from 1989’s “Batman”; the armor Russell Crowe wore in “Gladiator”; Jack Nicholson’s ax from “The Shining” and the lightsaber used by Mace Windu, aka Samuel L. Jackson, in “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”.

If not, Veruca Salt’s candy wrapper from the original 1971 “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” is sure to bring out the movie geek in anyone with money to burn.
