MICHELLE SHOCKLEY

Gee, what can I tell you?  Concerts are my passion.  Following The Grateful Dead for a few weeks, to a Ted Nugent show landing me in the U.S. Army, to waiting until after the Eric Clapton show to move to Hawaii, to seeing Concerts at the Daytona Beach Bandshell…Music has often been the catalyst which brings on the next best thing in life…a new experience!!! (Black Sabbath’s “The End” show January 2017 at the O2 in London was awesome!!)

In addition to Music, even though not mechanically inclined, I love to be surrounded by all types of Toys–Airplanes, Boats, Motorcycles, Cars, Jet Skis, Mix Masters, Blenders, Ovens, Computers, Guitars, etc.  Being a Wisconsin native, I’m a lifelong Packer fan and truly enjoy a good football game.  Throw in a large dose of the outdoors, especially with the ocean nearby, and I’m in heaven!!

What else?  Vacationing Rocks!  Cruise Ships Rock!  I love to travel!  It doesn’t matter where, but the warmer the better!  Finally bought a little place minutes from “The World’s Most Famous Beach!”  Coupled with the best gig on the planet, it’s like living on vacation!  Join me, Michelle, after Midnight rockin’ until the Crash Show on 95.7 The Hog!  \m/

Veterans Vacation!

Around Veterans Day there’s always a bunch of cool freebies (usually food and beverages) to say thanks for your service.  That’s nice, but don’t ya’ think it would be extra special to recognize our military on other days and in other ways? Surprise!!  That’s exactly what the Hotel and Lodging Association of Volusia County and the Daytona Beach Area Convention ...

Wine on a Beer Budget?

Okay, there’s another one of those delightful wine walks coming up in New Symrna Beach this Saturday.  It’s a great opportunity to try some really good wine, get a bit of an education and catch a buzz for a reasonable price. (https://www.facebook.com/SouthernStoneEvents) You’ll find it’s easy to spread the day out with lots of shopping.  Yes, window shopping counts!  It’s almost ...
